These bars can be eaten for breakfast, as a snack or for dessert, they keep for a while and they are easy to make. I made them for the first time today but I’ll definitely be making them again once they have all gone. Another benefit of these bars is that they are healthy so you can eat as many of them without feeling guilty (although you shouldn’t feel guilty for eating any type of food ever!! But I know it happens).

INGREDIENTS:
2 mugs of oats
1 mug of granola
½ teaspoon of salt
8 tablespoons of brown sugar
8 tablespoons of golden syrup
1 mug of milk
1 mug of frozen/ dried fruit. (I used what I had which was a few frozen strawberries and then some raisins but my granola also had dry fruits in too.)
1 tablespoon of peanut butter (optional for topping)
STEP BY STEP (the easiest ever)
1) Pre-heat the oven to 190 degrees fan oven.
2) Put all the ingredients into a bowl (apart from peanut butter) and mix.
3) Pour the mixture into a lined baking tray and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
4) Leave to cool in the baking tray until completely cool then warm up the peanut butter in the microwave and drizzle over the top. Cut into squares and enjoy at any time of day or night.
